An exciting Organic Fortnight

by

Sheepdrove are one of the major sponsors of Organic Fortnight which started with the Soil Association’s breakfast launch on Friday 31st August at London’s only totally organic pub, the Duke of Cambridge in Islington. Encouragingly their organic market report showed continued organic growth at 20% year-on-year.

The fortnight got under way with the Bristol Harbourside Show, this again sponsored by Sheepdrove. We had a large stand at the show with butchery demonstrations, selling our organic meat and a range of other Sheepdrove products, including organic chutneys, jellies, wholemeal flour, coffee, sausages, burgers and pie tasters. We had good sales and reached over 4,000 people who either bought our products or left understanding more about the Sheepdrove story.

Listen out for my interview with BBC Radio Berkshire this Saturday morning. Just part of the media coverage we’ve generated during this special period celebrating organics and raising awareness about organic food and farming.

Please come and meet our sales team at the Royal Berkshire Show at Newbury Showground on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th September. Again, we will be selling a range of Sheepdrove products supported by delicious tasters. (Get your ticket!)

As the Sales and Marketing Manager I am to write regularly on the blog, so please send me your thoughts and ideas of things we should discuss. Call 01488 674747 or click here.

Very Best Regards,
